What Schedule?

We got a feeding schedule down pat and even a night time routine that's running smooth but naps oh naps they are the devil. She ONLY wants to nap on someone. Obviously this is not ideal especially when she gets tired ever hour and a half, it leads to lots of cat naps cause I cant hold her the whole time.  I just wish i was able to devout more time to just her when it comes to this but this is hard with an almost three year old to take care of to. By 6pm she has hit a wall and it breaks my heart to see her scream from over tiredness. Just shy of three months and me going back to work soon we will have to try and find our way through this phase quickly. Like now, please.

Thankfully most of the time she's all smiles.

Emery is 2 months old!

How is this possible?!? I feel awful that I have written so little about my sweet girl. Second child problem I suppose. Emery is such a good baby. Like most second children they are mostly along for the ride. Going and doing whatever her big brother has in store for the day. And thankfully she's very easy going. She made the move to her crib around 4 weeks old mostly because I'm a mom who hears every single sound she makes. We are both thriving with this move.

 

We started her bedtime routine around 6 weeks old. She goes to down right before or after we put her big brother to bed at 8pm. She has been making to around 4am most nights sometimes later. Takes her bottle then falls back to sleep till 6 or 7am. I'm so grateful for this. I do love my sleep. She has also started to really smile, its so sweet it melts my heart.

 

And all of this while having to be in a harness. We saw her specialist yesterday and it appears things are improving but her hips aren't totally normal just yet. We were told 3 more weeks. And I pray that is all. It would really stink to have her in it during the warm weather...that is coming some day. She is allowed small breaks out of it and when she is out she is so happy. She moves her legs all around!

 

 

When I was taking pictures of Emery, Cole wanted to join in too. He has come so far with her and is such a sweet heart with her. I just had to share these picture of them holding hands. Aww love it!
